I really struggled with this one! LOL This is some new themed paper at Cropper's. TFL!!

Supplies: K & Company (www.kandcompany.com) – “Chestnut Accent Flat” and “Fishing Lures Flat” patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock (Amber), fiber by May Arts, inkpad by Rubber Stampede, acrylic paint by Plaid, chipboard letters by Making Memories, font is Georgia, Zig writer, stitching and transparency. Little fish is my own design.

Journaling:

The first fishing trip experience for Elizabeth and Andrew was on a leisurely weekend in Pikeville. There’s not a better place for it to happen than on the family farm - the fishing holes Daddy and his younger brothers grew up using. Elizabeth and Andrew were excited. Daddy baited his hook with a worm dug up from behind the barn just like he and his brothers did as kids. One drop of the line and bingo, we had a catch! Mommy baited “Elizabeth’s” hook and after our second descent, we had caught a little sunfish. (Andrew left with the thought that fishing was that easy: drop your line and a fish would instantly bite.) We put the fish in a bucket and one of Papa’s large bulls came over to investigate. Fear went into the kids at that point and Daddy had a hard time trying to scare the beast off. Daddy caught one more fish and that concluded our first experience fishing. We quickly moved on to a more exciting event - riding Uncle Tollette’s and cousin Mark’s four-wheelers through the acres of fields.
