CC Challenge: Assignment D

This time, I thought that a sketch challenge would be fun. I absolutely fell in love with the sketch in the November CK. To view the sketch, check out this link: www.creatingkeepsakes.com/mag/members/article.ihtml?index_field=1569

The sketch included tons of photos but left room for creativity! The deadline for this challenge is Monday, November 21.

To encourage involvement, everyone who participates in this challenge will be put into a drawing for a small scrapbooking gift. Just remember to include "Assignment D" in the title of your post so that I'll know to place your name in the drawing! I can't wait to see what everyone does with this!!!

I'm in again!! :) Maybe we can get Trina involved or someone else. Is there anyone at church that you think you could get to participate? If we are the only ones, then you shouldn't give out a prize.

I'm going to send an e-mail to Patty. I guess I am hoping that other people will get involved if it means a possibility of free SB supplies!!! If it is just us, then I won't give out anything - but anybody else who does participate, they will be put into the drawing.

IF we ever get more to participate then we will have to play scrapbook bingo sometime too. I've played that on other online groups before. It's fun. Thanks for heading up the challenges. If you ever want me to take over for a while, then let me know!

I don't have to get a gift to participate!! :) Count me in! I'm still in the scrapping mood from this weekend so I plan on getting some more layouts done soon!

I only did 3 or 4 layouts on Saturday and sometime tomorrow I will take a pic of them. I don't have my stitching program anymore and I am too cheap to buy one, so I have to take a digi pic.

I doodled on one and thought it was okay, not sure if I'm going to like this doodling phase!LOL

One of the girls doodled on her background cardstock and it was AMAZING!! It was totally submit-able!!! I am going to try and remember it so I can scraplift it, it was really that good!

Hope you gals are having a great week, it would be fun to meet for a playdate some day. Of course Mondays and Wednesdays only work for me or maybe a Saturday. Let me know!!!

Patty, if you have a scanner then it probably came with some type of stitching software BUT if it didn't I have Arcsoft Photo Studio and Photoshop Elements 3.0. I prefer the Arcsoft actually and it was a free trial that I got online probably two years ago. It still works great. If you want me too, then I can try emailing you the program. I'm not sure how big it is or if it will work but if not, then I could probably copy it to a CD and mail it to you or drop it off somewhere where you could pick it up (like CC). LMK!! The Arcsoft Photo Studio is version 2.0 and is very easy to use. Just email me privately. We are going out of town tomorrow and won't be back until late Monday but I will answer when I get a chance.

I have not even had time to start on this one!! Arghhh! It's been a crazy week and before that, we were gone. I'm hoping to work on it but it may be late. :-|

Well, today is Monday the 21st and have I done the challange? NOPE! Can we extend this challange till the end of the week? PLEASE. pretty please :)!!

Leslie, that would be great if you could do that. I need to search for a cheap stitching program, I guess that could be one of my little gifts for Christmas. My DH and I are only doing little gifts for each other this year from the kids.

Hey gals I just wanted to let you know that I am teaching a canvas class next Monday at CC from 10-12. The cost is only $15 and we will be making a beautiful 8x12 Christmas canvas with a spot for one 5x7 photo. We are using photo corners so you can change the photo out yearly.

I would love to see you all there!!!

I did one for Rhonda to show at the store this weekend during the big sales!! The one on display is exactly what I will be teaching that night. I'm sure she will post it to the gallery or I think she will!
