Yes, I think I'm going to finally cave in after wanting one for so long but using all my friends' and get my own! I plan on getting the new Christmas holiday gift set for 2005.http://www.quickutz.com/Public/Products/Media/Images/previews/GIFT-SET-05.gif All of my friends try to get different fonts and since I'm about the last one to get one, then this would make since. They wouldn't buy it b/c it comes with the handtool and they already have it. I may possibly get it tonight at our monthly crop IF I get the okay from dh! LOL
What did you ever decide, Brianna? Or did you? ;)

Brianna, what I mean is, did you decide to go with the Quickutz or Sizzix or what? I'm only getting this b/c I love the Quickutz fonts but may later get that Sidekick or whatever it was we were talking about where you could put several Quickutz dies in at once to cut.

I am entering an online contest, and the winner will recieve the set you might buy. I also told my mom that I would really like one too. I guess I'll see if I get it This coming Friday - since we do Christmas with my family the day after Turkey Day. I really want it.

Well, I was confused and thought that the holiday gift set came with a hand tool so I did not buy it. However, I did buy the Olivia mini alpha set and it came with a hand tool. I think it was $119 for the font and the larger hand tool (which is supposed to cut much easier and seems to). It did not come with the ejection foams to put on the dies or a binder to put the dies in so I bought them as well. I was excited to finally get my OWN Quickutz!! :) I used the font last night on a LO at our crop too. ;) I hope you get one too. We can share each other's fonts since if you get the holiday gift set, we will have different ones.

I meant to add that my hand tool is a pretty pink too. This is the Olivia font: http://www.quickutz.com/Public/Products/Media/Images/Alphabets/CharLayouts/olivia.gif
It's called a "Unicase" since it doesn't have a separate upper and lower case but is mixed. It's also considered a "skinnimini." This is a pic of the handtool:
