Hi, I am new to the site and was curious about the crop. Is this a private crop?

Hey Angela! Welcome to this online community (small that it is!). The crop is at my church, Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, in Gray. It is a private crop in the sense that it is for church members but we invite friends outside of the church. Several of the girls on here go to my church and others have said they would like to know when the crops are so if they can ever come. It's from 6:30-9:00 if you are interested.

Angela & Pamela, I also wanted to let you know that there are regular scheduled crops for scrappers in the tri-cities at Cropper's Corral. There is a yahoo group for Tricities Scrappers and the crop dates are set for like the second Tuesday of each month or something like that. You can ask Rhonda or Tia at the store when they are. HTH

Thanks so much for letting me know, unfortunately piano lessons for my daughter is until 7pm. I'm in Kingsport, so it's not enough time to make it worthwhile. I would like to find a regular crop to attend to force myself to spend more time on my pages. I can't seem to be consistant at home, I can't sit down to work on it knowing there is laundry and dishes ect., by the time I get caught up on the house it's time to go pick up children from school. Whine-whine! Anyone have suggestions? Angela

My daughter is in Kindergarten and my son is in preschool (he's 4 and goes Tues & Thurs) so I can't get anything done during the day. Well, sometimes I can. I have a scrap room and I have a corner with a table for the kids and a shelf with their craft supplies. Sometimes I can work and they do crafts but I have to keep a constant eye on them (especially my dear boy!!;-) ). I do all of my scrapping at night after the kids go to bed. Especially right now, my husband is busy (he's a CPA) so he's not home most nights during the week. I often stay up and wait on him and scrap. I love having that time at night to myself but I wish I could scrap during the day and go to bed earlier. I keep thinking that maybe when my son gets in school full time I can get more done during the day. BUT it seems that maybe it's just a dream since you can't set aside the time and others I know find the same problem! :???:

Hi, I don't have children yet (My husband and I are adopting a baby girl from China) but I can't find time to scrap either. However, my friend and I have started a regular crop on Fridays if you'd like to join us. We meet at her house at 10am and stop about 2 or 3pm. She lives in Colonial Heights if that's close to you. Just post and I'll give you directions or my phone number if you'd like to talk.

Thanks Leslie and Pamela for responding. I have three children, 2 boys and a girl, mine are all in school. My daughter is the youngest and is in first grade this year. One would think I would have lots of free time during the day, but you guys will see your schedule fills up fast with activities at school and other stuff. (I just started a Beth Moore study during the day-awesome!) I AM going to make more time for scrapbooking though! Leslie, a Friday crop sounds great. I work with the kids Fri. mornings, but I'm usually done before 10am. We live in Fairacres, that's just a few minutes away from C. Heights. I have plans for tommorrow, but next week would be great. Congratulations on adopting!!! My sister adopted a baby boy from Korea, he is in Kindergarten now. He has been such a blessing! I also checked the Corral class page and it's for Jan. still. Do you girls know if the scraps are usually during the day or at night? Thanks so much for the info! Leslie, your picture is great, I feel like I know you since I've seen your face! I'll have to get my dh to figure out how to do that for me. The only thing I can do on the computer is email. Have a great day! Angela

Angela,

I think the crop at Cropper's is listed under FCC on the calendar and I think it's at night. Hope that helps and please join us next Friday if you can.
