What was the last thing you bought that you said, "I just HAVE to have that" and you've yet to use it? How long has it been since you bought it?

Probably the worse thing I bought was this LARGE cardstock swatch book I bought way over a year ago (maybe two years or more) from an online store. It has swatches of over 300 cardstock colors and is huge. I have NEVER bought from this online store but thought I would at the time. I think Croppers wasn't selling any Bazzill at the time and I was going to start ordering from them. I'm embarrassed to say the swatch book cost like $35. Ouch!! It's huge and it's an eyesore. I don't know what to do with it. I know I could use the swatches on LOs but they have the color info printed on them.

When I got my sewing machine, I quickly learned to thread it and fill bobbins but it took me maybe six months to get up the nerve to acutally use it on LOs. I had my mom help me make Halloween outfits for the kids and that gave me the push and experience I needed to use it on paper.

I really can't think of anything off of the top of my head.

Hmmmm:
Heidi Swapp acrylic snowflakes & letters - still haven't used them
MM Woven photo corners - tons, but not on a single LO

I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of any right now.

I bought the complete set of Fiskars texture plates from shopathome. I've tried them but I haven't found ANY cardstock or pp that works well with them. Maybe if I scrapped with foil it would be perfect. So they sit yet to be used. Anyone want to use them? If I ever have a scrapbook store, I would have a "try before you buy" tool area. I think it would be great for business. At 1 store I was able to try the new squeeze tool and was thrilled I didn't buy it and in another store I used the silent setter and clikits and wondered why I hadn't bought one before. Sorry to ramble.
