I know I should have a new setter but just haven't tried any of them. I still use the hammer and setter and I drive my husband crazy. I tried the Clikit the other night. It was fine but I wanted to know if anyone has tried the Making Memories silent setter or the ProvoCraft silent setter? Please I really need some imput on this. Or if you know of a website for product reviews.

I bought Provo Craft's Silent Setter a couple of months ago and like it a LOT! So much better than getting out a hammer which never bothered me too much. Cropper's has them - or did, I'm not sure how many they have in stock. Anyway, some of the brass-type eyelets take a little more elbow grease but they did with the hammer too. It comes with 3 sizes of hole makers and setters. The hole makers are neat to use for making circle shapes on your LO and letting another color show through behind. Have you seen this technique used? I think it looks cool.

Pamela, have you decided on an eyelet setter yet? I can let you try out the Silent Setter at the SDV if you're interested. I think they had several there last year for people to try out.

Thanks for the offer Leslie. I bought the MM one. It still makes A LOT of noise but not all the banging of before and it's much easier to use.
