I have every intention of doing a themed album but haven't yet. I have plans for two vacations Wade and I took together in prior years but have I done it yet? And I want to do a recipe album - include some of our favorite recipes and some of the stories behind them. . . not started yet. Although I did see an album I think I would like to use at Cropper's last night; it was a 6x12 size by Karen Foster, I think.

I created 2 themed gift albums (one for my mom & one for my MIL) so they would have a brag book of Cristian's first year. Both were 6x6. I have also started an aam album, which is 8x8. & I created these little board book mini albums for gifts. They are for Baby's First Year - each has a 2 pg "LO" for each month & it includes a calendar to record info on. I'm finishing them up to take with me to Ohio. It was fun to create. Love the altered board book idea. So easy to do.

I haven't done any yet. I only have one completed album. I haven't been scrapping that long....less than a year. I would love to do a cookbook album and will probably do something once Baby Chan comes from China. Eww..that sounds like I'm ordering a child.

Pamela, what details do you have on your baby? Do you know whether you're getting a boy or girl or when the baby is coming? That is so exciting!

Leslie,

I really don't know anything about the baby. We asked for a baby girl between 10-14 months old. Our request will probably be granted. Our doucuments were logged into China 2/3 and we should get our referral (a picture and medical report) in May and travel in June.

"Celebrity" scrapbooker Stacy Julian is adopting a baby girl from Korea. She already has four boys!! From her blog she posted in January:Many of you have asked for an adoption update. There isn't unfortunately much to tell. We are family number five on the list waiting for a baby girl from Korea. We are hoping to receive a referral [newborn picture and acceptance papers] sometime before Spring. After that, it will take between three and six months to bring her home. She will probably be around 7 months old.

I guess it is a long process!? Let us know when the time nears any info! :)
