What do you do with your old Scrapping magazines? Do you tear the LOs you like out and pass them on?

I hold on to them and look at them from time to time. I actaully haven't bought a smag in about 3 months. The last one I bought was CK and I haven't bought one of the others in over 6 months. I get inspired by the layouts I see here and at SBO. I may be out of the loop but that is okay, I think the mags are overpriced. IMHO :)

When I accumulate a year's worth, then I usually give my back issues (prior to that year) to someone else. A couple of my friends have cut LOs out that they like and put them in a notebook to have when their scrapping. I am thinking about doing that. I enjoy my magazines and love reading and looking at them but I know I don't use them like I should (how much I use them versus how much I pay for them). Last year I started tabbing LOs I liked whether it was design or title or whatever to have for when I scrapped. That worked pretty good but it was a little time consuming.

I wanted to add that there are sooo many great LOs to be inspired from online that I often wonder if I should quit one of my subscriptions. I get CK, SS and Scrapbooks, Etc plus Paper Crafts for my card inspiration. I usually get one or two of those subscriptions as a gift from my sister at Christmas.

It depends. If I only like a few things in the mag I'll cut them out and paste them in a journal notebook that I've decided to keep for scrapooking ideas, new technique, and mag clippings. If I like the whole mag, then I leave it be. I only have about 5 total that I like.

I've been going threw some of my old magazines (some have been given to me). Frankly there are only a couple of LOs/ideas that i like out of the magazines i've looked at so far. But i don't want to rip up my magaines either. I have a friend that just rips out the page she likes and she keep them in a binder. I may just bite the bullet and do it. No since in hanging on a bunch of magazines for just a hand full of LOs/ideas. It would be alot eaiser that way.
