Just got the e-mail today that included all the information for the 2006 CK HOF Contest? I was wondering if anyone from the area was going to be entering???

I printed out the "assignments" off their site to just look over. I would love to enter - with no HIGH hopes, let me tell ya! - but I don't know. I keep thinking that when both Elizabeth and Andrew are in school I will do it.

I've got the assignments and all. The worst that could happen is NOT being selected - but then what if......never mind! Those "dreams" are comin' out!!! Anyway - It would be fun to do just as a challenge!!! I'm thinking about it anyway.

Well, maybe we could do a couple (or more) of the assignments as a challenge to get us started! Not saying that I would submit my layouts!! LOL Depends how pleased I am with their outcome and how bold I'm feeling (or lucky).

I got my photos ready today and hope to work on it tonight. I think I have all the supplies I need already. It's going to be a two page layout. *gasp* That's a big change for me, huh? It's how I started out but now I rarely find that I want to use that many photos to need to make a two pager. BUT my layout is about Elizabeth using my camera one day last April and how when I looked at the pictures on the computer I found how interesting it was to "see" things from her perspective. KWIM? Anyway, maybe I can get started tonight when the kids go to bed BUT I doubt I will get done!! I'm wanting it to be good so it may take a night or two of contemplating.

ETA, are there maybe two or three run-ons up there? :?

I have to wait for my photos until Friday. My Mom & Dad are coming into town for the weekend and they are bringing my brother's wedding pictures, which is what I want to use for the challenge! I'm hoping to get a lot done while they are in town, BUT they are bringing a scrapbook cabinet with them that my Dad built for my birthday. So there's a really good chance that I'll end up organizing my supplies while they are here to watch Cristian! But I'm in no way complaining!!! I need the room for my supplies!!!

I'm also going to try to upload some LOs & cards to the gallery. I've got quite a bit to upload, but it's so hard to find the time to scan & stitch it all. Hopefully, I can make the time this weekend!

We have small desk in our room right now, and it really is a mess!!! The cabinet was built to fit in the same area as the desk, so that I won't have to find a home for it. It has doors though, so I can at least conceal the mess!!! Plus it will be more organized, which is part of my problem right now.
