once you have a LO formulating in your head. can you do anything ELSE while its there or do you HAVE to get it out?

I have to do something with it..I start thinking about paper, photos, and embellishments.

I'm bad about this in the sense that when I take photos or upload them to my computer, I often have ideas culminating up there but I don't immediately (or quickly) write/draw them out. When I get to scrap the photos finally, I forgot my "great idea."
