So, any new trends you're wanting to try???

I've not seen tons of ne trends in the SB mags that are pulling me in. I love the look of using notebook paper to journal on, but that's really it. Oh, & I'm starting to like the star thing too.

It's interesting to see how the trends change.

I haven't seen any new trends that I like either. I love the doodle look and I've been practicing but I don't think that's a new trend. Stars? I'm going to have to look through my sb mags. I did see somewhere a company was making a colored paper notepad to journal on when you're "on the go". Brianna, do you think the notebook paper trend is because of the "school" LOs or do you think that's a trend that's going to stay?

I don't know - I've seen it on a lot of "non-school" LOs. I've not tried it yet, but it's because I haven't really done much scrapping. I'm really looking forward to trying to go to the SB Crop this month @ our church (if DH can watch DS)

There are some trends that I just try to resist but then fall prey to eventually! The thing I'm wanting to try - that is or was in that category - is doodling. I don't really have a defined scrapbooking style but I would have to say that I tend to be more clean and simple. I think doodling is not that so that is why I thought it wasn't for me. However, I have seen some really cute LOs with it lately and with the option of using doodling rub ons or fonts, then I can make sure they come out "right." ;)
