to post the directions for creating a logo/copyright brush.
This is the link to the tutorial on Marie Cox's Blog:
http://justmariec.typepad.com/my_everyday_thoughts/2006/07/04/index.html
her instructions are for a "pre-created" file. If you want to create the logo/copyright in PS or PSE, just create a new file & make sure you set the background to transparent. You can add graphics & text (you'll just have to play around, that's what I did). Then make sure to "group" all of your layers & then follo the tutorial.
One you've followed the tutorial, open the photo you want to "stamp", select your "brush tool". Select the copyright brush you created & then click it where you want it on the photo.
I hope this makes sense, if not, I'll try to walk you through it on the phone. It took me a while to figure it out for myself.

I'll probably be able to figure it out. I've wanted to learn how to make brushes for a while now. Maybe I can try it out tonight. TFS

Well, I just got finished playing around with this. I posted a picture to the gallery to show what I did. Not that big of a deal but I was experimenting! ;) I like how you can change the size, opacity, color, etc. I would like to make a brush of a word like maybe "love" or something and stamp it with different opacities and sizes with a layered look. Thanks again for sharing, Bri. Now I've done something I've wanted to learn how to do for a while. I need to play some more with it though.

I am not into digital LOs but a friend shared a site with me where you can get free digital kits. I thought I may try using some of their digital things to embellish a photo or actually use the pp file and print it on regular paper to use. I've seen this done in the sb mags. Anyway, the site is: http://www.shabbyprincess.com/
BTW, they do have kits you purchase but click on "downloads" to access the free ones.

Leslie - very cute. I'm still playing around with the color on mine, I've been checking out the free digi stuff too.

Hopefully, I'm about to go scrap some. Dh went to the race tonight and I got the kids in bed early. Although I do think I hear some little pitter-pattering upstairs (probably ds) so I have to check on that first. I'm pretty bored this evening. :) I'm hoping some scrapping with cheer me up! ;)

I didn't think I would get to scrap last night, but I had to make one of those Card Mini-albums. Hope you got to do some scrapping last night too Leslie. I re-arranged my SB armoire this morning & it's so nice & orderly. I've got to get some things together for some class ideas this weekend, demos & stuff. I think I may show Rhonda the card mini-album, it's so versatile & functional & cute. Plus it's easy,

Brianna, that would be a GREAT class idea to do the card album. Man, I may have to sign up for that class. It would probably get me in gear to actually make one. You could have papers ready to do either a boy or girl album but not use any specifics as far as things that say "boy" or "girl" so that if it was someone making them for their own b-day cards or something. OR you could have people specify when they sign up if they want boy, girl, Christmas or whatever. OR you could give them supplies to make two and make just one in class. Just ideas but I think it is a great idea. I know CC has a stash of chipboard from orders (or used to) back in the work room.
I did get to scrap some last night. I plan to do a little tonight too. I have two LOs waiting on photos - I had ordered my photos from Walmart and I have templates that I use to "stand in" while putting together my design. I started a third LO last night too but quit b/c I was at a lost using the pp. I was working on stuff for the store. I get so meticulous about how my LOs are turning out for them. Usually I think I do a pretty good job but there is the occasional that I think stinks. ;) Soooo when I was struggling last night, I decided it was time for bed.
I emailed Phyllis to see if Sept 12 is okay for our next church crop. I'm not sure if it will work or not. I'll post though when it is definite. I *really* hope you get to attend the next one - and ME too!! I want to see your recent work. You may just have to come over one day to show it all off.

I was going to ask if you were still doing LOs for the store.......you are so lucky.....would love to do this. I'm just so excited to get to teach classes. I've got tons of ideas too, including the card mini album. It's so much fun to create it & it takes so little time to finish the project. Perfect for a class.
I haven't done too many LOs recently, I've got tons of ideas just no time to create them. I'm trying to set some time aside each night to create a little though. I need that time, esp. since I won't have any for a while once Elisa arrives. I'm going to do the Card Mini album for her cards tonight & try to get a few other LOs done (well, without Photos or journaling for now). I'm dying to just play & create.
I have a feeling that DH will make sure I'm there for the next crop....he felt so bad about this past Tues.
Hope you get to create tonight...have fun if you do.

Brianna, when are you meeting with Rhonda on Monday? She asked me to come also, I hope you don't mind. I've been doing stuff this weekend to show.

I finished the cover for DD's card mini-album. Took about an hour to do just the covers & rings. Love how these turned out. I also created a LO (I just need pictures) that I LOVE - of course, I used MORE MME Bohemia - I'm addicted to this stuff, can't get enough.
Pamela, I think I'm going to try to do like 1, will that work for you? I still need to e-mail Rhonda & see if it will work for her. I have to take DS with me, so I'm hoping he'll fall asleep in the car on the way there so I can enjoy the meeting. I don't mind at all - I'm excited that we'll both be there. Just let me know if this will work for you.
