sneaky, and I think I know who you are. But thank you, if you were part of my DH's sneaky-ness & supplied him with information. He really made my day.

ROFLMBO - Your reply is too funny Pamela. Yes, I did get the Crop-a-dial. BUT I knew when I opened it this morning that he had to have help, because he would have never know what this was or that I wanted it on his own. PLUS, I remember a very innocent thread just a few days ago that asked something about what tool would you want or something like that.
This birthday has been kinda hard for me - I'm 25 today, it's not OLD by any means, but I'm not "young" either. KWIM? I don't fall into that "early 20's" bracket anymore, I'm officially in my MID-20's. I guess it's so weird because I work with teenagers & I feel like I'm "old" to them now. Silly, I know. It means a lot that DH went out of his way to get something I really wanted.
I'm rambling. I've got to go so that I can start dinner.

LOL In ALL honesty I did not post that question for that reason. It's just that after I read you didn't get it and that you still wanted it that I made a phone call. :) I like to take care of my friends! It did work out good. I was about the post the question "what is your favorite restaurant?" when I thought about getting you a gift card at one. ;)

Thanks Leslie - DH's all excited that he got me something that I really wanted. He was trying to play it off like he didn't have any help when he got home from work today. But then I told him that I knew you helped him & he finally confessed.

You should be very happy that you have a husband that wants to make your b-day special and surprise you like that whether he got a little help or not. At least he listened to the help, right? ;)

I really do have a wonderful husband.......he is the kind of man who always goes out of his way to do for me (and our little man & baby girl). It frustrates me sometimes when he gets involved in things (like decorating....) but then I look back & I'm so thankful that he really wants to be involved in things, even the small things. I am truely blessed to have a husband like I do.

Even sneakier than they first admitted.......you are good, my friend.
and so everyone knows what I'm talking about. To top off my birthday, I went to a youth activity with our youth group last night. I had some suspicion, but things didn't totally add up & I didn't want to have myself all exited about something that wasn't going to happen. So, I get to Fun Expedition last night & I'm like 45 minutes late because of various things (that I will later discover were planned). Dave has already told me this story about how messed up the night is & that things are just not going right. We go into this party room so he can talk to the teens about the activity & they (my teens) had a surprise party planned for me. It really made my night. They gave me a gift - my Janome Sew Mini Machine (it's coming to the Crop so I can play with it & I get to sew on my challenge LO). PLUS, some additional money to use as I want (still trying to figure out how I want to spend it). It was a WONDERFUL borthday - thanks to all who were involved (I know some of them stalk the site & they will read this)
