It totally depends on the project @ hand. Sometimes one works better than the other.

I totally agree with Brianna on the projects but my track record with scrapbook injuries is scissors 2 vs craft knife 0.

I use scissors more but do pull out my craft knife or swivel knife when doing intricate work. When it comes to cutting detail, I do prefer my craft knife.
