So All The New Cool Tools That Come Out.....do You Run Right Out And Buy Them?

If I had an endless budget, I probably would, BUT.....I don't. Tools seem to be so expensive, & when I do have "fun" money, I hate using it for just one thing. I usually end up buying PP or embellishments instead. However, I'm trying to use my money more wisely. Tools cost more initially, but they are something you use again & again. I've got a tool "wishlist" that I'm working on right now..........mostly stamps (the MM alpha ones & Rhonna Farrer has some fun ones out) and circle punches (I want a 2" & 3" one, for embellishments - I'm loving circles right now).

There aren't too many tools I want right now. Two years ago I used to buy all the latest and greatest (or tried to) but found out quickly that I didn't use them all - like the metal stamps, the paper clay with all its other paraphernalia, acrylic laquer, etc. Not all tools but lots of products! I am interested in the Crop-a-dile but I already have the silent setter. If I did more paper crafts involving punching through mulitiple layers or chipboard then I would probably buy it. Right now I may just have to borrow it. I have several friends with one now! ;)

The crop-a-dile is a MUST for any scrapbooker. This thing is worth it just for it's punching abillities....it's unreal what it can do.

I look for bargins when I want tools. Michaels and Hobby Lobby have most of the latest tools now and SALES AND COUPONS. I agree with Bri about the crop-a-dile BUT no way was I going to pay $30 for it. I got one for $14 at Hobby Lobby w/40% off coupon. I've learned my lesson about buying the "latest" tools ...shop around! I have to say the crop a dile is a must and it is "TRUELY" silent. I think my husband would pay full price for it so he wouldn't have to hear me bang or click again...haha
