ZAZ by AccuCut

The new ZAZ Portable Die Cutter has arrived in the store, and of course I just had to have one. So far the mechanism has been quite stiff, and the other staff members of Cropper's Corral have found this to be true also. Does anyone else have any experience with this new tool? Any tricks? I would like to here from you. :)

A new cutting mat has been mailed to the store, and it helps the ZAZ to give a sharper cut. You need to be careful with this mat, since only one side of it can be presented against the paper. I still find the QuicKutz easier to use, but the new cutting mat does represent an improvement. Some customers at the store report that they prefer the ZAZ to QuicKutz, but this is not my opinion.

Just got back from Craft and Hobby Association meeting in Chicago, and spoke with the ZAZ reps. They have indicated that we may have gotten the "first run" of the ZAZ. If you purchased your ZAZ from Cropper's Corral, and are having problems with your ZAZ, please contact me.
