It’s been a couple weeks but I finally have a chance to report on our recent trip to CHA in Chicago. I’m fairly new here at QuicKutz, so this was my first experience at a tradeshow of this magnitude. From what I'd heard and expected though, it didn’t disappoint. It seemed more like a big party than anything, which I think says a lot about the people involved. I'm continually amazed at how passionate everyone is about their hobbies and about this industry in general; it's fun to be a part of it all. [/FONT]
For those of you who attended the show, I hope you had a chance to stop by and see our brand new booth! It looked so sleek and inviting and I certainly have to hand it to those who put a lot of effort into designing and decorating it.
The big hit of the show was obviously the Revolution Love machine, as evident by the seemingly constant crowd of people surrounding the display area, all vying for a glimpse of it. Everyone was thrilled about the larger cutting area and its ability to cut all of our dies as well as all other dies on the market. I can’t wait until this comes out in stores because I think people will absolutely love it! (pun intended).
Besides the Love, we had some other really neat products released at the show that got a lot of attention, too. The 4x8 Alphabet dies for one are a great way to get QK alphabets at a very affordable price, not to mention that it all comes on one die! Way cool. The All-in-One Storage Binder was another item that people were stoked about. It’s an answer to so many people’s requests and to all your QK storage needs.
It was great to meet so many of you and to finally put faces with all the names and voices that I’ve talked with since I started working here. We all had a great time seeing everybody, showing them our awesome new products, dancing to love songs, spinning the prize wheel and giving away thousands of dollars of product at the end of each day. I hope that everyone who participated at our booth had a great time too. Thanks for all your support and constant devotion to this company. We wouldn’t be anything without our dedicated retailers and enthusiastic fans!
