there is no real "retirement" in the position DH has - as long as we're close to both of our families!

We love it here too but have toyed with the idea of having a beach house in/near Charleston, SC or somewhere in FL. We have friends who have a house that they co-own with a few other families. I think we would like to do that. This is the perfect area for us though (MHO of course!!) b/c we never have problems with natural disasters (flood, earthquake, blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc) and we get to experience the four seasons. ;)
