Our Grand Reopening Celebration will be held on Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st.

Our Grand Reopening Crop has filled up; however, we are still accepting names on a wait list in case of last minute cancellations. If you were not able to get in or would like to join us again, we are planning a Pajama Crop for April 28th. This Pajama Crop will be from 10:00 am Saturday to 3:00 am Sunday. Dinner, doorprizes, snacks, etc. will be provided. The cost will be $40.00 per person. Please call 282-5884 to reserve your space. We will announce all of the special sales soon that will be held during our Grand Reopening!!! Stay tuned for more details.

Cropper’s Getaway

There’s still time to sign up for the November 3rd, 4th, and 5th Cropper’s Getaway at the Carnegie Hotel. We will be having nonstop cropping from Friday at 9:00 am to Sunday at 5:00 pm. Still time to sign up for the Cropper’s Getaway weekend!

Please mark your calendars for November 3rd, 4th, and 5th and plan to attend a weekend of cropping, classes, shopping, pampering, fun, and food. This event will be held at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City and will provide nonstop cropping time from 9:00 am Friday morning until 5:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. We will have vendors, classes, make and takes, prizes, and more. This is your chance to get some great scrapbooking done before the holiday rush. This can be your present to yourself or from someone else!

Congratulations to Kristy Thompson!

She is the winner of the FREE Cropper’s Getaway Weekend. Her prize package includes nonstop cropping from 9:00 am on Friday, November 3rd, to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 5th. She will be receiving dinner on Friday night, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. It also includes make and takes from the vendors, as well as a goody bag and drawings for door prizes. Congratulations again to Kristy!

Instructor Spotlight: Kathy Fesmire

In each e-mail, we will be spotlighting one of our instructors for the Getaway. Kathy has been scrapbooking for almost 10 years and it has become an all consuming passion for her. In 2004 she was honored to be named a Memory Makers Master and she currently does freelance work for Memory Makers Books. In 2005 she was named to the Creative Artist Team for EK Success, the largest manufacturer of scrapbooking products in the world. She currently works for EK Success and has done design work for many companies in the past including Plaid, Sandylion, Karen Foster Design, Maisy Mo and Creekbank Creations. She teaches classes at trade shows and scrapbook conventions as well as teaching Pre-K at the Four Star Academy. Kathy works and lives in Athens, TN with her husband Austin and four children; Alex, Morgan, Hayden and Isaac. We are lucky to have this talented and inspiring instructor. Please be sure to sign up for her classes early as space is limited to 12 per class.

Get Magnetized!!

Come make a gorgeous magnetic photo holder from sheet metal. Pretty papers, ribbons, buttons and flowers make a gorgeous background for holding photos or notes with matching magnets that we will make in class. You will LOVE this unique way to display photos pretty enough to be in any room or office. Finished project is approximately 8X10 exposed space. This is perfect to make as a Christmas gift.

Just Write!

Journaling is a way to release tension, write down our hopes and ideas and get honest with ourselves. As Oprah says, everyone should keep a journal! So why not make it something gorgeous that we love to look and write in!! We will cover and decorate a journal and make a matching bookmark to get the ball rolling on our self-awareness plan. These would also make a wonderful birthday or Christmas present for a loved one or friend!

Color Me Happy!!

Ever wonder why some layouts look so pulled together? Chances are it is the colors the artist chose. Color choice is so important and so much easier than most people realize. In this class we will learn all the tricks of the color wheel, how to pick colors, the emotions of colors and make a card and a tag that can be used as a title with our new found knowledge. This class is a must have for scrapbookers of all levels.

Altered Clipboard Class

You will leave with a beautiful altered clipboard to display in your home or office or to give as a gift. Perfect to use as a teacher’s gift or for a friend. One of the Cropper’s Corral Staff saw the class sample and immediately began thinking about Christmas gifts for her granddaughters.
